Davo Karnicar » the unstoppable« top Slovenian alpinist and extreme alpine skier a great man and an athlete with heart and soul - a symbol that the desire of a man goes beyond everything and all obstacles in life can be overcome if you tackle them carefully, believing in yourself and the goal in front of you.
Davo kept moving milestones over and over again.He is written in the history as the first person to ski down from the summit of the highest mountain in the world : Mount Everest, on October 7, 2000.
Davo also beat the peaks of all seven continents (Mt.Everest (2000), Kilimanjaro (2001), Elbrus (2002), Aconcaguo and Mount Kosciuszko (2003), Denali (2004) and Vinson on Antarctica (2006).
His achievements will not be forgotten and he will be forever known for his love for the mountain and his family.
Intersocks is grateful to Davo for all the support, promotion, advices and involvement in the development of the BRBL® Himalaya, which was made for the sole purpose of one of his last major extreme ventures, an expedition to K2, which unfortunately was not realized due to health issues.
